Paul’s Weekly Letter – 8 November 2017

Good evening,

Last night during our Executive Board meeting we passed our budget for next year. We need to do more fundraisers to really be comfortable with our finances and we would appreciate ideas from you our membership. We also thanked Dan for heading up our float this year. If you see him make sure you say thanks also. To be honest herding cats was taken to a new level during the run-up to the parade. As you may have heard Ruth Tucker is leaving us, so we honored her with a set of Nevada earrings to remember us and to thank her for many years of service to our community.

We went to Adam Laxalt’s event Monday night at Glen Eagles (very nice food, etc). This was his 17th event is the last couple of days and he and his staff looked pretty happy with the support they received.

Aaron Sims sat in on a conference call the Nevada GOP had with the White House last week. They discussed what was going on in the world and asked for Nevada’s support. However, what I found interesting is that we are included in these calls. Hopefully, there will be more to follow.

One more thing, Karen Aboud is not running for office next year. The Dems have already selected a candidate. We need a strong Republican to run for this seat. If you know anyone who would like to run please let us know.

We now have PayPal on our website which makes it easier to donate. Every amount is greatly appreciated.
