Paul’s Weekly Letter – 23 January 2018

Good Evening,

Don’t forget we have a meeting Thursday. 6:30 pm at the Argent Academy on Fairview. (Side Door)

Our guest speaker will be Sherriff Ken Furlong, This will be his 5th election for Sheriff. We are going to give him 20 minutes talk about past accomplishments and his plans for the next 4 years. And of course some questions.

We are also going to have Kaisia Klaus fro Awaken, a women’s advocacy group. Same thing, 20 minutes and some questions.

There was training on Saturday with our Nevada GOP, one of the things was that we were gaining on the Democrat’s in voter registration. So good job for everybody out there registering people.

Don’t forget we have Precinct Meeting, County Convention, and the Lincoln Day Dinner coming up. Please call me or Marti Cockell to volunteer

Below is a request for Peter Hennessy who is graciously heading our Platform Committee.

Our Bylaw committee is meeting right now in the office, let me know if you want to help out. Phil Becker is heading this committee.

We are still looking for someone to run for the Ward 1 Supervisor seat. Again you have to live in one of the precinct’s that starts with a 1 you are eligible to run.

Don’t forget our Lincoln Day Dinner tickets, all you have to do is go to our web page ( and click on the invitation and it will take you to a site to buy tickets. And yes it’s safe and easy. If you want to pay with cash or check go to the office and we will gladly take your money.
