Paul’s Weekly Letter -15 February 2018

Good Evening,

Well I successfully signed up a square for my IPhone so we will be able to process credit card payment for your live or silent auction purchases Saturday night at the Lincoln Day Dinner. Speaking of, we have a really long list of sponsors (see below) that have graciously donated items for our silent auction. As you can see it’s quite a long list. Make sure you check them out prior to dinner. As you travel around town please say thanks to these business and individuals for their generous donations.

The highlight of the evening will be a live auction where we will have not one but two firearms. A Ruger AR-15 and a Taurus 357 Revolver. Of course you still have to pass a background check to purchase these items. We got these guns from Wild Bill’s Guns Too over on N. Carson St, so say thanks next time you are in the store.

Remember we are at the Plaza Event Center and the social hour starts at 5:30 pm which is a really good time to walk around, meet our candidates and yes I will say it again look at our auction items.

If you did not know our plan is for all the candidates to get up and speak for three minutes each. As we have around 23 it should take an hour or so. It will be Aarons Sims job to move them along so no questions please during their time. If you want to, ask them your question one on one before, during or after dinner.

And one more thing, Sue Merriwether and Aubrey Rowlatt invited us to an open house at the County Courthouse Thursday Feb 22, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm to view our new voting system. They and the vendor will be there to answer questions and demonstrate the system.
